From 30 April until the end of summer, children under 1m tall eat for free at both Mestizo Chelsea and Mestizo Camden; making it the perfect excuse to enjoy a relaxed meal out with the whole family.

At Mestizo, dining is all about sharing moments, and that includes the little ones, which is why we’ve created an experience that’s as enjoyable for children as it is for adults.

From the moment they sit down, kids are welcomed into a fun, relaxed environment where they can play, draw and explore, giving parents the chance to unwind while everyone enjoys the meal.

From 27 April to 4 May, Mestizo invites you to experience one of Mexico’s most iconic dishes like never before in both Camden and Chelsea.

Our Enchilada Festival is more than just a celebration of this dish; it’s a journey through the different regions, traditions and stories that shape Mexican cuisine today.

Each dish on the menu has been carefully curated to represent a different part of the country, turning your meal into a sensory journey.

Enchiladas Cancún: The Caribbean Escape

Light and full of energy, these enchiladas reflect the modern, coastal side of Mexico. Inspired by the Yucatán Peninsula, they bring together freshness, citrus notes and a sense of sun-soaked escapism. This dish is Mexico by the sea: colourful, relaxed, and made to be shared.

Enchiladas Tapatías: The Soul of Jalisco

Bold, rich and full of character, these enchiladas come from the heart of Jalisco, the land of mariachi and tequila. They carry a sense of pride and tradition, evoking long family lunches, music and flavours that feel both comforting and celebratory.

Enchiladas de Mole Verde: The Hidden Ritual

Subtle, herbal and deeply complex, mole verde offers a quieter side of Mexican cuisine. Made with green chillies, herbs and seeds, it feels closer to nature, more intimate, more personal. This is a dish to discover slowly.

Enchiladas de Mole: A Celebration in Every Bite

Across both Mestizo Chelsea and Camden locations, guests will discover colourful altars, authentic rituals, exclusive menus, and unique events designed to bring the spirit of this tradition to London.

In Mexico, Día de Muertos is a time to remember and celebrate loved ones who have passed away. The centrepiece of the celebration is the altar, decorated with flowers, candles, food, and photographs. Each element carries a symbolic meaning: cempasúchil (Mexico’s typical flower) guides the spirits back, candles light their path, and their favourite food welcomes them home.

Mestizo will open its doors to the community, inviting guests to bring photographs of their late loved ones so they can be part of the altars. These altars will be displayed throughout the celebrations as a tribute to life, memory, and togetherness.

The most exciting addition to Mestizo’s Día de Muertos calendar is the Semana de Moles (Week of Moles). Mole is one of Mexico’s most emblematic dishes, a rich and complex sauce often described as a true masterpiece of Mexican cuisine. Mestizo will offer Londoners the chance to experience a curated tasting of different moles, showcasing the diversity and artistry of this exceptional dish. It’s an opportunity to savour one of Mexico’s greatest culinary treasures, a true celebration of flavour and heritage.
